I am an Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with adult individuals and partnerships in all life stages and areas of stress and distress (including, but not limited to: depression; anxiety; unresolved trauma, anger and pain; relationship issues; and strains associated with life transitions) in the creation of trustworthy relationship.
My love for story has been intricately woven through both my background in illustration and my current work with clients. This passion fuels my desire to know you and discover your unique manner of relating to and being in the world. In the face of struggles inherent to the human condition, we all develop adaptive coping strategies. Though initially necessary, these strategies often run the risk of developing into restrictive and self-limiting patterns.
Together, we work to gain awareness and creatively re-narrate your story in ways that allow you access to your individual (or partnership’s) resourcefulness as you become increasingly able to show up for your life with the fullness of your being.
In addition to my private practice, I currently teach at Antioch University Seattle as a member of the university’s adjunct faculty.
